The final part of the Duolingo test is interview.
Duolingo interview is composed of two parts. 1_ speaking section 2_ writing section
1_ The speaking part of Duolingo interview
In this section, a headline is displayed and you have 30 seconds to read the headline and be informed.
It’s time to record your video interview and your writing sample. Your responses will not effect your score but will be available to institutions that receive your score.
After that make sure you are centered in the camera frame. Remember, institutions can watch your interview if you send them your test results.
As you can see below, two topics are suggested and you have 30 seconds to choose one of the two topics. It is better not to choose abstract subjects, try to choose more real and tangible subjects, or concrete ones. For example, talking about “a favorite person” is easier than talking about “beauty”.
After selecting the topic, you can press the start button, but do not do it quickly and use your time to think.
choose one topic to talk about 1-3 minutes.
After the start button, your audio and video will start recording and you can see the subject at the same time.
After this section, it is time to write and it will be sent to the university that you will apply.interview is not given any grade, however it is one of the requirements of the exam, and if it is not done, the exam will not be valid and no score will be issued.
